+ The file manager
The file manager that is built into up-2-date keeps everything in one place. It allows the hassle free upload and management of your documents and images - upload a PDF file, add a link and your clients will be able to download it immediately.
Using the file manager you can organise your files in folders just like you can on your own PC. With just a few clicks you can create a folder and fill it with files from your PC.
+ The missing link
Ever been to a website to download a file and received an error message instead of the file you need? Not with up-2-date. We don't like errors on websites we visit so we want to prevent them on yours.
When you move or rename a file using the file manager all links to the file are automatically changed to reflect the new name and location. Try to delete a file that is used within your site and the file manager will prevent you.
+ Keeping your files safe
Your website and any files it uses are backed up everyday. All backups are saved off-site so that your files are 100% safe.
What file types can I upload?
The file manager allows you to upload all the main file types such as JPEGs, GIFs, PDFs, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Powerpoint files, MP3s, Windows Media files, Video clips, etc. If you need to upload lots of files just let us know and we'll increase your file allocation.
